Smooth Travels

How swift are you at airports? Departing out of Santa Rosa California has never been so easy. And I bet Snoopy planned it that way. Although the overhead bins are small, it did not seem to be a problem for most of the business travelers. Rick Steves helped our crew just fine with his carry on backpack. The beauty of it is that if it is not absolutely stuffed to the gills, it can be manipulated to fit almost anywhere. Unlike many backpacks that have lots of complicated rigidity, Rick Steves thrives on simplicity. One, two or three bags? How much do they weigh? Who cares if you have the extra cash, right? But with this economy, smart travelers use hand-held scales(around 12 USD) to weigh everything before they leave. Forgetting your computer can be a disaster as well these days. Checkpoint friendly laptop carriers are becoming more and more available these days. And even though the Travel Security Administration has not fully endorsed these laptop friendly sleeves, they are definitely checkpoint friendly, and seem to be hot on the market.
